In the Next Week the Price of Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in Riau Increase by Rp1,863.38/Kg. `There is an increase in price reaching 0.57 percent from last week's price. Thus the purchase price of palm oil fruits for the next week is Rp1.868,83 per kg,` said the Head of (Kabid) Processing and Marketing, Plantation Office (Disbun) of Riau province, Defris Hatmaja in Pekanbaru, Tuesday (14/4/2020) quoted from Goria.

He explained that the increase in the price of FFB this period is due to an increase in the selling price of CPO and kernel from almost all data source companies.

`It was recorded that only CPO selling prices from Sinarmas Group have decreased,` he said. 
 
Which, for CPO selling prices, PTPN V has increased by Rp4.00 per kg, Sinar Mas Group has decreased in price by Rp55.00 per kg, Astra Agro Lestari Group has increased in price by Rp61.00 per kg, Asian Agri Group has increased in the price of Rp22.83 per kg, and PT Citra Riau Sarana has increased by Rp12.10 per kg from last week's price.

As for kernel selling prices, Astra Agro Lestari Group has increased by Rp88.18 per kg, Asian Agri Group has increased in price by Rp169.00 per kg, and PT Citra Riau Sarana has decreased by Rp261.32 per kg from last week's price.

Approved by Minister of Health, Jakarta PSBB Starts Tuesday, April 7th 2020. `It (has been signed). I believe DKI was the first to submit their application. It was signed last night,” said the Head of Public Opinion and Media Division of the Health Ministry, Busroni, to journalists, Tuesday (April 7, 2020). The approval was followed up with the issuance of Decree of the Indonesian Health Minister No. HK.01.07/MENKES/239/2020 on the Imposition of PSBB in DKI Jakarta Province to Accelerate the Handling of Covid-19.The Ministerial Decree was enacted in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. `This Ministerial Decree shall come into force on the date of its enactment,` reads the fourth dictum in the Ministerial Decree. This means that PSBB to accelerate the handling of the coronavirus outbreak in DKI Jakarta will take effect on this Tuesday. Based on a copy of the Ministerial Decree received by Kompas.com, the decree consists of four dictums. The first dictum reads, `To impose PSBB in DKI Jakarta Province in order to accelerate the handling of Covid-19`.The second dictum reads, `The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta shall implement large-scale social restrictions as referred to in the first dictum in accordance with the provisions of the prevailing laws and shall consistently encourage and disseminate healthy and clean living practices to the public`. Meanwhile, the third dictum reads, `PSBB as referred to in the second dictum shall be implemented during the longest incubation period and may be extended should there be evidence of the continuation of the transmission`.Previously, Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan proposed the status of PSBB for Jakarta on Thursday (April 2, 2020). The proposal complies with the provisions of Government Regulation (PP) No. 21 of 2020 on PSBB to Accelerate the Handling of Covid-19. Anies proposed the PSBB status because Jakarta is the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. The number of Covid-19 cases in the capital city continues to increase.
In DKI Jakarta alone, as of Monday, April 6, 2020, the number of positive Covid-19 patients has reached 1,268. The number has increased by 125 from the previous day. Of the total number above, 67 patients have recovered, 284 are self-isolating, 791 are still receiving intensive care, and 126 have died. Facing COVID-19, Agriculture Ministry Reviews Alternative Export Markets for Plantation Commodities. This step is taken in anticipation of the decreasing demand from China for exports of Indonesian plantation commodities in 2020. Kasdi explained that this is because China is currently restricting the movement of goods from and to China. This restriction is implemented to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic caused by the corona virus. April 2020 CPO Reference Price Down US$132. In the Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 29/2020 concerning the Determination of Export Reference Price (HPE) for Agricultural and Forestry Products Subject to Export Duty, the CPO reference price was set at US$653.76 per ton.
The reference price fell by 16.89 percent or around US$132.87 compared to the reference price for the period of March 2020, which was at US$786.63 per ton.
"Currently, the CPO reference price is at a level below US$750 per ton. For that reason, the government imposed an export duty for CPO of US$0/ton for the period of April 2020," said the Director General of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, as quoted from a press release received by Bisnis, Friday (27/3/2020).
The CPO export duty for April 2020 is listed in Column 1, Appendix II, Letter C of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 13/PMK.010/2017 amounting to US$0 per ton. This value decreased from the previous month's CPO export duty for the period of March 2020, which was US$3 per ton.
Meanwhile, the reference price for cocoa beans in April 2020 was at US$2,589.37 per ton, down by 8.12 percent or US$228.74 compared to March, which was at US$2,818.11 per ton.
This resulted in a decrease in the HPE for cocoa beans in April 2020 to US$2,299 per ton, down by 8.88 percent or US$224 from the previous period, which was at US$2,523 per ton.
Wisnu explained that the decrease in the reference price and HPE for cocoa beans was caused by the weakening of international prices.
This decrease had an impact on the cocoa bean export duty, which fell to 5 percent (last month's period was 10 percent). This is stated in column 2, Appendix II, Letter B of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 13/PMK.010/2017.
Meanwhile, for the HPE and export duty of wood and leather products, there were no changes from the previous month's period. The export duty for wood products and leather products is stated in Appendix II, Letter A of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 13/PMK.010/2017.
