GMS LB PT KPBN March 5, 2019. GMS-LB was led by Mr. Seger Budiarjo as the Head of Human Resources and General Affairs of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) and attended by the Board of Directors of PTPN Group, the Board of Commissioners of PT KPBN, and the Board of Directors of PT KPBN.The Decisions agreed upon during the GMS-LB of PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) included:
Approve the transfer of all shares of PTPN I, PTPN II, PTPN IV, PTPN V, PTPN VI, PTPN VII, PTPN VIII, PTPN IX, PTPN X, PTPN XI, PTPN XIII and PTPN XIV to PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). This way, after the signing of the agreement and the handover of share rights, the shareholder composition will be PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) with 88.492 shares valued at IDR 88.492.000.000 and PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII with 6.884 shares valued at IDR 6.884.000.000.
Approve the Amendment and Reorganization of the Articles of Association of PT KPBN, particularly Articles 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 14, 17, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, as well as the deletion of Article 32.

RI Lobbies India to Cut Palm Oil Tax. For the record, currently, Indonesia's RBDPO import duty to India reached 50%. Indonesia requested the same treatment as the product from Malaysia, which is charged a tariff of only 45%. Indonesia offers reciprocity as an effort to reduce this import duty. Enggartiasto said that Indonesia will open the raw sugar market from India for the industry in Indonesia. `In return, Indonesia is willing to open access for raw sugar from India,` Enggar explained. The raw sugar from India is considered to be of good quality. Thus far, Indonesia's raw sugar needs are supplied by two countries, namely Australia and Thailand. Enggar claimed that India gave a positive response to Indonesia's offer. He said that the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Civil Aviation of India, Suresh Prabhu, prepared to fulfill Indonesia's request. The plan to reduce the import duty will boost the export of palm oil product to India. Thus far, India is the number one export market for Indonesian palm oil products with an average of above 6 million tons per year. The Executive Director of the Indonesian Palm Oil Entrepreneurs Association (Gapki), Mukti Sardjono, admitted that the competitiveness of Indonesia's palm oil to India has been declining because the import duty is higher than that of Malaysia's product. `If the import duty to India is the same as Malaysia, the competitiveness of our palm oil export will be the same,` Mukti said. Good competitiveness will increase the export. It is considered effective to increase Indonesia's palm oil export. Just so you know, the change in import duty has previously suppressed Indonesia's palm oil export to India. The export of Indonesia's palm oil to India in 2018 was 6.7 million tons; down compared to 2017 which was above 7 million tons. `We hope that the export can increase again to at least 7 million tons like in 2017,` Mukti explained. The export market for palm oil to India still has great potential. With the population of more than one billion people, the consumption of palm oil products and its derivatives by the people of India is still quite large.

PT KPBN: Participate in the National Workshop on Transformation of Plantation State-Owned Enterprises. The event held at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta was attended by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Rini Soemarno. Several important figures were speakers at the workshop: the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, academics from the Faculty of Agriculture UGM, plantation figures, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of BPN, and legal experts.The first address was given by Dolly Pulungan as President Director of the Nusantara PTPN III Plantation Holding (Persero), followed by the Chairman of the FSPBUN Tuhu Bangun, and the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno.The Chairman of FSPBUN, Tuhu Bangun, said that the purpose of the National Workshop was to provide an overview of the problems, causes, alternatives, and solutions to the problems faced by the BUMN Perkebunan in order to continue the sustainability of the existence and growth of the PTPN Group in the future.On the other hand, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno said, `…Many of our BUMNs can be invited to cooperate to utilize our rubber and tea, and our CPO will cooperate with Pertamina..”Rini Soemarno said that when she was given a report that this workshop could produce ideas to increase plantation productivity, it would certainly improve the welfare of all plantation employees. After her speech, Rini Soemarno officially opened the National Workshop by hitting the gong, accompanied by the President Director of the Holding and the Chairman of FSPBUN.The number of participants who will attend the event is estimated to be around 1,000 people. Participants came from the FSPBUN Daily Management, representatives of all SPBUNs under FSPBUN, PT. KPBN, directors, commissioners, division heads and related department heads from PTPN I to PTPN IV, Dapenbun, subsidiaries and institutions within the BUMN Perkebunan.

Cooperation Agreement Signing Between PT Kualitas Tekhnologi Asia and PT KPBN. The signing was carried out by PT KPBN CEO, Edward S. Ginting accompanied by Heryanto Eko Purnomo, Finance & General Director of PT KPBN with PT Kualitas Tekhnologi Asia Director, Felix Tansulla accompanied by Mr. Nitin Gangla, Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan at JDA Software Group Inc.
