JAKARTA: The value of imports of food and beverage products during January to October 2010 reached U.S. $ 169 million, an increase of approximately 23% compared with same period last year.

Food and beverage products from Malaysia still rule the market of imported products in domestic market, with a mastery level of 17% market share. As for China and Thailand respectively ranked second and third, with respective market share of 15% and 14%.

The type of food and beverage products that enter the country including sauces and preparations therefor, mixed condiments and flavoring mixture, coarse mustard flour and prepared mustard, other than soy sauce, ketchup, mustard powder, chili sauce, seasoning mix / seasoning and fish sauce.
