South Sumatra CPO and TBS Prices Decline



Based on the pricing results issued by South Sumatran Plantation Agency, the price decline occurred in the fresh fruit bunch (TBS) and crude palm oil (CPO).
The average price of CPO in period I of May 2016 amounted to IDR8,025.38 per kilogram, falling by IDR122 or 1.4% from period II of April 2016 priced at IDR8,147.65 per kg.
The price decline was also felt by palm oil farmers, where TBS prices fell in years 10-20 as much as IDR21 or 1.2% from IDR1,739.95 per kg to IDR1,718.04 per kg.

The CPO and TBS prices in South Sumatra will be determined again in period II of May by the Plantation Agency and business actors.
